Facility directors must provide telephone notice to qualified persons within twenty-four hours of an incident involving a patient affecting health or safety.

Directors must provide a written incident report copy to qualified persons within ten days of request (changed from "promptly"), with patient and employee names redacted unless authorized.

Directors must offer to hold a meeting with the qualified person to discuss the incident and provide a written report on actions taken to address it.

Directors may offer to provide all reports to qualified persons electronically.

The act takes effect immediately upon enactment.
