Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence must conduct a study on domestic violence in the transgender community, with particular focus on Black transgender women.

Study shall examine the prevalence, causes, effects, risks, and costs of domestic violence affecting the transgender community.

Study must identify ways to reduce domestic violence and increase reporting within the transgender community, and examine reasons for disproportionate impact on Black transgender women.

Office must submit findings and recommendations for legislative or other actions to the Governor, Senate Temporary President, Assembly Speaker, and both minority leaders within one year of the act's effective date.

Act takes effect immediately upon enactment.
