Establishes a grant program administered by the Department of Mental Hygiene to fund peer-to-peer mental health support programs for health care workers.

Allows grants up to $250,000 per eligible entity that provides training in mental illness, post-traumatic stress disorder, and suicide prevention for health care worker volunteers.

Requires the commissioner to establish standards for programs including initial and continued training, administrative staffing needs, and best practices for serving health care workers.

Prohibits grant recipients from maintaining records on participating health care workers or reporting personal identifying information to the commissioner.

Appropriates $10,000,000 from the state general fund for implementation, effective immediately.
