County boards of elections may establish one or more portable polling locations for early voting, with the maximum number determined by the state board of elections based on population.

Portable polling locations must be designated no later than 14 days before an election.

Location selection must consider population density, travel time, proximity to other early voting sites, public transportation routes, commuter traffic patterns, and other relevant factors.

Portable polling locations must operate for no fewer than three consecutive days.

Portable polling locations cannot replace or reduce the number of required polling places for early voting.
