Lowers signature thresholds for New York City offices, including city-wide positions from 7,500 to 3,750 signatures and city council districts from 2,700 to 1,350 signatures.

Reduces signature requirements for county and congressional district offices by approximately 50%, ranging from 750 to 1,750 signatures depending on office type.

Adds language to override New York City Charter provisions that establish higher signature thresholds for city offices.

Expires and is repealed on December 31, 2021.
