Permits voters to voluntarily photograph and post on social media their own ballot and themselves at any stage of voting, including in privacy booths or at ballot scanners, provided photos do not show other voters or reveal contents of other ballots.

Modifies election law to prohibit soliciting voters to show their prepared ballots to reveal contents, while allowing self-initiated photography under the new provisions.

Removes penalty language from existing law regarding ballot marking while adding exceptions for photography allowed under the new ballot selfie provision.

Establishes a new misdemeanor offense for anyone who forces an individual to photograph and/or post their ballot or themselves on social media during voting.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
