State Board of Elections and State Education Department must jointly examine, evaluate, and make recommendations concerning the safety of students and staff at schools used as polling places for elections

State agencies may request and shall receive assistance and data from any state or local subdivision, department, board, bureau, commission, office, or agency necessary to effectuate the report's purposes

Joint report with findings, conclusions, and recommendations must be submitted to the governor and legislature within six months of the act's effective date

Report must include regulatory and legislative proposals deemed necessary to implement the recommendations

Act takes effect immediately upon passage
