Requires all accident and health insurers in New York to cover treatment of Lyme disease (Lyme borreliosis) and other tick-borne pathogens, including at least 30 days of intravenous antibiotic therapy, 60 days of oral antibiotic therapy, or both, plus additional treatment recommended by a licensed New York physician.

Extends the same coverage requirements to group and blanket health insurance policies that provide hospital, surgical, or medical coverage.

Mandates medical expense indemnity corporations, hospital service corporations, and health service corporations providing medical or major medical care coverage to cover all costs for Lyme disease and tick-borne pathogen treatment under the same standards.

Adds Lyme disease and tick-borne related pathogens to the workers' compensation law as occupational diseases for employees whose work involves outdoor activity or treatment of animals.

Takes effect 120 days after becoming law, with regulatory agencies authorized to implement necessary rules and regulations immediately upon passage.
