Adds the United States Space Force to the definition of "armed forces" across multiple New York state laws to ensure Space Force members are eligible for the same credits and benefits as other military service members.

Modifies the General Construction Law, Executive Law, Election Law, Military Law, Insurance Law, Private Housing Finance Law, Public Officers Law, Tax Law, Economic Development Law, Civil Service Law, and Real Property Tax Law to include "space force" alongside existing armed forces references.

Expands veteran status definitions to recognize Space Force members who have served on active duty and received honorable or general discharges, including those with qualifying conditions or discharged LGBT veterans.

Ensures Space Force members are eligible for state employee benefits including paid leave on Memorial Day and Veterans Day, civil service examination fee waivers, real property tax exemptions, housing finance programs, and other veteran-specific credits and benefits.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment, with limited exceptions for certain executive law provisions related to service-disabled veteran definitions.
