Amends the Not-for-Profit Corporation Law Section 1402 to exempt the East Amherst Fire Department, Inc. in the town of Amherst, Erie county from the 45 percent non-resident membership cap.

Adds the East Amherst Fire Department, Inc. to an existing list of fire departments that are permitted to exceed the standard 45 percent non-resident membership limit.

Other fire departments already exempted from the non-resident cap include the Huguenot Fire Company, Prospect Terrace Fire Company, Hopewell Volunteer Fire Department, Wales Center Volunteer Fire Company, Nedrow Fire Department, Howlett Hill Fire Department, East Syracuse Fire Department, Pleasant Square Fire Company, and fire departments in the town of Fleming, Cayuga county.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
