Amends Labor Law Section 511 to redefine "day student" exemption from employment requirements.

Narrows the exemption to apply only to service performed "solely" during regular vacation periods, removing the previous language about "all or any part of the school year."

Removes the requirement that the student work "part-time" and removes the specification that attendance must be "during the day time."

Applies to any person in regular attendance as a student in elementary or secondary school.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
