Authorizes the Town of Oyster Bay assessor to accept a late real property tax exemption application from Nori Foundation d/b/a Sai Mandir USA, a not-for-profit corporation, for the 2019-2020 assessment roll.

Exemption applies to a portion of 2019-2020 school taxes, a portion of 2019 general taxes, and all of 2020 general taxes for the parcel at 57-59 West Old Country Road, Nassau County tax map section 46, block 260, lot 105.

Exemption application shall be reviewed as if timely filed by the taxable status date, provided the assessor determines the corporation would otherwise qualify under section 420-a of the real property tax law.

Grant of exemption requires approval from the Town of Oyster Bay board and authorization for the assessor to make appropriate corrections to the assessment rolls.

Act takes effect immediately upon enactment.
