Grants Dana Kerstanski retroactive Tier IV status in the New York State and Local Employees' Retirement System effective May 10, 2006, her start date as a substitute custodian with Warwick Valley school district.

Requires Kerstanski to file an application within one year of the act's effective date to receive retroactive membership status.

Kerstanski will not receive a refund of any employee contributions previously made to the retirement system.

Warwick Valley school district must pay a one-time past service cost of approximately $70,900 and increased annual contributions estimated at $3,200 for fiscal year 2023.

Act takes effect immediately upon enactment.
