Amends New York Labor Law Section 591 to make employees ineligible for unemployment benefits due to refusing a coronavirus vaccine.

Adds language to Section 593 establishing that voluntary separation from employment due to refusing a coronavirus vaccine constitutes "good cause" and does not disqualify a claimant from receiving unemployment benefits.

Specifically protects employees who refuse mandatory coronavirus vaccination requirements imposed by the Department of Health on healthcare employees by September 27, 2021, or by employer policies that mandate vaccination or termination.

Takes effect immediately, with certain provisions coordinated with the effective date of Chapter 277 of the Laws of 2021.
