Extends implementation timeline for the 2021 medication-assisted treatment program from 120 days to one year after the law becomes effective.

Requires local correctional facilities to operate substance use disorder treatment and transition services programs pursuant to plans approved by the office of addiction services and supports, in accordance with mental hygiene law section 19.18-c.
