Authorizes exempt fire agencies to conduct preemployment testing, random drug tests, and testing for cause to detect cannabis use in accordance with federal standards.

Requires exempt employees prescribed medical cannabis to immediately report their prescription to their fire agency, which must consult its medical director to determine fitness for duty and potential work restrictions.
