Department of Civil Service directed to study airport-related titles in state and municipal civil service systems

Study must identify all airport positions subject to civil service law, their jurisdictional classification, and current vacancy or provisional/temporary appointment status

Study must assess frequency of open-competitive examinations for competitive class positions and review past examinations used to fill such titles

Department must issue findings report with recommendations to the governor, senate president, and assembly speaker within 180 days of the act's effective date

Recommendations shall address increasing permanent appointments and ensuring adequate assessment of job qualifications in competitive examinations
