Extends the Department of Environmental Conservation's authority to regulate weakfish (Cynoscion regalis) from December 31, 2022 to December 31, 2025.

Grants the department power to establish regulations on size limits, catch and possession limits, open and closed seasons, closed areas, and restrictions on fishing methods.

Allows the department to set requirements for permits, recordkeeping, fishing effort and gear, and rules governing transportation, possession, and sale of weakfish.

Requires all department regulations to comply with fishery management plans adopted by the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission and Federal Fishery Conservation and Management Act provisions.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
