Requires covered public water systems serving at least five year-round residents (or 25+ residents regularly) to develop inventories identifying the material composition of all service lines connected to their distribution systems.

Water systems must classify each service line as lead, galvanized, copper, plastic, other material, or unknown, with separate portions listed if materials differ between the water main and building.

Systems with lead, galvanized, or unknown service lines must submit updated inventories to the Department of Health annually, including information on replacements and steps to determine unknown material composition.

Water systems must make their most recent service line inventory available on their website, and the Department must post all inventories publicly within 30 days of receipt.

The Department must create an interactive, searchable, color-coded map of all service line inventories within 180 days showing material classification and street addresses, updated at least annually.
