Enacts the Interstate Nurse Licensure Compact, approved by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing on May 4, 2015, into New York law and enters New York into the compact with all other jurisdictions legally joining.

Enacts the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Compact, adopted by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing on August 12, 2020, into New York law and enters New York into the compact with all other jurisdictions legally joining.

Both compacts take effect on the ninetieth day after the bill becomes law, with regulatory amendments authorized to be made immediately upon enactment to facilitate implementation.

Includes a severability clause providing that if any provision is found invalid by a court, the remainder of the act remains in effect.
