Amends Criminal Procedure Law section 245.10 to allow withholding of information identifying 911 callers, victims, or witnesses of felonies under Penal Law Article 125 (homicide) or Article 130 (sex offenses) when defendant has substantiated affiliation with a criminal enterprise.

Amends Criminal Procedure Law section 245.20 to permit redaction of witness identity information without requiring a court motion, but prosecution must notify defendant in writing that such information has not been disclosed unless court rules otherwise for good cause.

Expands witness protection provisions to include any victim or witness of crimes where defendant has substantiated affiliation with a criminal enterprise as defined in Penal Law section 460.10.

Takes effect on the thirtieth day after becoming law.
