Amends Penal Law Section 270.25 to include peace officers in the crime of unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle in the third degree, making it applicable when fleeing either a police officer or peace officer in a marked vehicle.

Amends Penal Law Section 270.30 to include peace officers in the second-degree unlawful fleeing offense, which applies when fleeing results in serious physical injury to a police officer, peace officer, or third person.

Amends Penal Law Section 270.35 to include peace officers in the first-degree unlawful fleeing offense, which applies when fleeing results in death to a police officer, peace officer, or third person.

Amends Vehicle and Traffic Law Section 101 to designate peace officer vehicles provided by a law enforcement agency as authorized emergency vehicles.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
