Increases daily allowance for trial and grand jurors in New York's unified court system from $40 to $72 per day for each day of physical court attendance.

Modifies employer wage withholding rules so employers with more than ten employees cannot withhold the first $72 of a juror's daily wages during the first three days of jury service (previously $40).

Adjusts calculations for employed jurors whose daily wages are less than the allowance amount, entitling them to receive the difference between $72 and their daily wages.

Specifies that juror fees and expenses for food and lodging remain a state charge payable from the office of court administration budget.

Takes effect December 31, 2022.
