Requires boards of elections to copy electronic ballot images and cast vote records from memory cards or other electronic media used in ballot scanners within one week after each election.

Makes copied electronic images of cast ballots and cast vote records public records available upon request from the board of elections.

Preserves existing provisions allowing courts, judges, and legislative committees to examine voting machine data and electronic media in connection with contested elections.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
