Redefines "imitation weapon" to include devices colored white, bright red, bright orange, bright yellow, bright green, bright blue, bright pink, or bright purple on the entire exterior or as the predominant color pattern.

Replaces orange barrel stripe requirement with a new standard requiring imitation weapons to be constructed entirely of transparent or translucent materials that permit clear observation of the firearm's complete contents.

Adds requirements that imitation weapons have a manufacturer's name, trade name, mark, or brand legibly stamped on them for identification purposes.

Prohibits imitation weapons from having laser pointers attached, defined as any device emitting visible light amplified by stimulated emission of radiation.

Takes effect on the ninetieth day after becoming law.
