Authorizes the town of Huntington assessor to accept a late tax exemption application from the League for Animal Protection of Huntington, Inc. for the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 assessment rolls

Applies to property located at 3 Verleye Avenue in Huntington, Suffolk County (tax map number 0400-217.00-02.00-083.000)

Exemption shall be reviewed under Section 420-a of the Real Property Tax Law as if the application had been timely filed by the taxable status date

Requires approval from the town board of Huntington before the assessor may grant the exemption and make corrections to the assessment rolls

Permits the applicable governing body or tax department to refund any taxes paid and cancel unpaid taxes, fines, penalties, liens, or interest if the exemption is granted
