Expands podiatry scope of practice to include non-surgical treatment of the ankle and ankle anatomical structures, including cutaneous conditions and wounds of the ankle.

Excludes podiatrists from treating melanoma, performing Mohs surgery, muscle flaps, or microvascular anastomoses above the level of the malleoli unless they obtain specific privileges.

Allows podiatrists with appropriate privileges to perform surgical treatment of the ankle and soft tissue of the leg below the tibial tuberosity, including ankle fracture fixation, ankle fusion, and ankle arthroscopy for those with advanced ankle surgery privileges.

Redefines "supervision" for limited permit holders to mean immediate availability rather than requiring the supervising physician or podiatrist to remain in the immediate area, and allows supervision approval from hospital department chairs.

Limits limited permits for ankle surgery training to one year with renewal periods not to exceed four additional years, with fees of $105 for initial permits and $50 for renewals.
