Prohibits polling places from being located on the premises of any public or private elementary or secondary school or preschool facility as defined in Education Law section 4410.

Removes existing language that allowed public school buildings to be designated as polling places if suitable rooms accessible to disabled voters were provided.

Maintains requirements for publicly owned or leased buildings (other than schools) designated as polling places to provide suitable accessible voting areas near convenient entrances.

Allows building controllers to request cancellation of polling place designation within 30 days if use would unreasonably interfere with usual building activities, subject to approval within 20 days.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
