Prohibits the transportation, sale, or offering for sale of eggs for human consumption within New York State unless the eggs originate from poultry vaccinated against salmonella enteritidis

Allows unvaccinated eggs to be transported to egg-breaking plants for pasteurization with written permission from the commissioner

Allows unvaccinated eggs to be transported and possessed within the state for research or experimentation purposes with written commissioner approval

Establishes violation of this requirement as a class A misdemeanor

Takes effect 180 days after becoming law, with the commissioner authorized to promulgate necessary rules and regulations immediately
