Extends variable supplement fund benefits to all New York City police officers, including disabled officers, line of duty widows and widowers, and registered domestic partners who were previously ineligible.

Extends variable supplement fund benefits to all New York City firefighters, including disabled firefighters, line of duty widows and widowers, and registered domestic partners who were previously ineligible.

Extends variable supplement fund benefits to transit police, housing police, and correction officer retirees, including disabled members, line of duty survivors, and registered domestic partners who were previously ineligible.

Prohibits reduction of variable supplement payments to any officer or beneficiary who was eligible for benefits prior to the effective date of this bill.

Effective immediately upon enactment.
