Boards of elections in cities with a population over one million must provide Haitian Creole language information on their websites matching what is provided in other non-English languages.

Boards must produce and distribute a citywide booklet containing: a voter registration form in English with Haitian Creole instructions, instructions in Haitian Creole for absentee ballot criteria and application process, and general voter information with frequently asked questions in Haitian Creole.

Boards may include additional languages beyond Haitian Creole on their websites and in the booklet at their discretion.

The act takes effect on January 1 following the date it becomes law.
