Governor may suspend or delay elections in affected municipalities upon issuing an executive order declaring a state of emergency or upon issuance of a federal disaster declaration, with rescheduled voting to occur as soon as practicable.

Qualified voters whose polling locations are in areas affected by an emergency declaration issued within 14 days of an election may vote as absentee voters without meeting standard absentee voting requirements.

Voters seeking to vote by affidavit during an emergency declaration need not affirm registration in their specific election district if registered anywhere in the affected county.

County boards of elections may cast and canvass ballots from voters who appeared at incorrect polling locations due to emergency declarations, provided the voters were otherwise entitled to vote in that election.

Absentee ballots cast under emergency provisions shall be transmitted to the voter's registered election district for canvassing with other affidavit and absentee ballots.
