State Board of Elections and State Education Department must jointly examine, evaluate, and make recommendations concerning the safety of students and staff at schools used as polling places for elections

Both agencies may request and shall receive necessary assistance and data from any state or political subdivision agency to accomplish the purposes of this act

Agencies must submit a joint report with findings, conclusions, and recommendations to the governor and legislature within six months of the effective date

Report must include regulatory and legislative proposals deemed necessary to implement the recommendations

Act takes effect immediately upon enactment
