Amends New York City Administrative Code Section 20-468 to require perishable or canned foods seized from general vendors be transported to the nearest food relief organization and/or homeless shelter instead of being discarded.

Defines "perishable foods" as foods that may spoil or become unfit for human consumption, including meats, poultry, seafood, dairy products, bakery items, eggs, fresh produce, and refrigerated/frozen items, but excluding game or wild game.

Defines "canned foods" as hermetically sealed, commercially processed food items in cans, including preserved fruits, vegetables, and other food products.

Defines "food relief organization" as religious organizations or non-profits providing free food to food-insecure persons, including food pantries, food banks, soup kitchens, and community-based organizations.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
