Directs the Department of Agriculture and Markets, in cooperation with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority and higher education institutions, to develop guidance and educational materials on agrivoltaics for farmers.

Requires the guidance materials to address resources for maximizing agricultural production, high-value shade-resistant crops, marketing opportunities, benefits like reduced electricity costs and water use reduction, extended growing seasons, and pollinator-friendly standards.

Mandates distribution of developed materials within 120 days of the act's effective date to cooperative extension offices, soil and water conservation districts, and the websites of both the Department of Agriculture and Markets and NYSERDA.

Requires the Department of Agriculture and Markets to provide a booth at the next New York State Fair following the act's effective date to educate the public on agrivoltaic farming practices.

Authorizes the Department of Agriculture and Markets and NYSERDA to consult with state and local agencies, request information, and conduct research relevant to developing the agrivoltaics guidance materials.
