Updates language in the Correction Law covering medication-assisted treatment, prison education, transfer procedures, housing, pregnancy services, feminine hygiene products, and shock incarceration programs.

Modifies terminology in the Executive Law regarding parole eligibility and procedures, the Mental Hygiene Law, the Penal Law, the Public Health Law, and the Social Services Law.

Changes references in the New York City Administrative Code and Building Code related to detention facilities, health services, telephone services, and facility definitions.

Effective immediately upon enactment, with conditional effective dates tied to the implementation of related legislation passed in 2021.
