Adds two new responsibilities to the New York state interagency task force on human trafficking: evaluating the use of social media and its contribution to human trafficking, and convening subcommittees to address specific issues.

Expands the task force's existing duties which include collecting trafficking data, identifying victim services, consulting with organizations on prevention and prosecution, establishing interagency protocols, increasing public awareness, and evaluating training programs.

The subcommittees must include at least one member appointed by the speaker of the assembly, temporary president of the senate, or governor and may address federal/state/local cooperation, juveniles in trafficking, training requirements, data compilation and sharing, and services for domestic versus foreign-born victims.

Takes effect immediately but remains subject to the existing expiration and repeal date of the social services law section it amends.
