Amends Criminal Procedure Law Section 182.20 to add Saratoga County to the list of counties where defendants may appear electronically in criminal proceedings.

Allows courts to dispense with in-person defendant appearance and conduct electronic appearances, except for hearings or trials, with court discretion and chief administrator authorization.

Requires defendant consent on the record after consultation with counsel, with consent required at the commencement of each electronic appearance.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
