Increases the monetary jurisdictional limit of New York City Civil Court from $25,000 to $50,000 across multiple sections of the New York City Civil Court Act.

Raises the $25,000 threshold to $50,000 for money actions, chattel recovery, real property actions (including partition, mortgage foreclosure, mechanic's liens, and ejectment), and interpleader actions.

Updates the jurisdictional limits for counterclaims involving rescission, reformation, and partnership accounting from $25,000 to $50,000.

Modifies joinder of causes of action provisions to allow judgments in excess of $50,000 when multiple causes of action are joined, if the excess results solely from the joinder.

Takes effect immediately and is deemed effective as of January 1, 2022.
