Increases standard of monthly need for public assistance eligibility effective July 1, 2022, with amounts ranging from $246 for a single person to $964 for a household of six, plus $132 per additional person (previously $158-$617 plus $85 per additional person).

Increases maximum monthly grants and allowances for eligible persons and families effective July 1, 2022, using the same enhanced amounts as the standard of monthly need.

Increases home energy grant amounts effective July 1, 2022, from $14.10-$55.20 to $44-$172 monthly depending on household size, plus $24 per additional person (previously $7.50 per additional person).

Increases supplemental home energy grant amounts effective July 1, 2022, from $11-$42 to $28-$107 monthly depending on household size, plus $13 per additional person (previously $5 per additional person).

Requires all increased amounts to be adjusted annually based on cost of living adjustments determined by the federal Social Security Administration.
