Repeals section 94-c of the executive law, which established the major renewable energy development program.

Removes references to siting permits under the repealed renewable energy program from environmental conservation law section 8-0111.

Maintains existing permitting requirements for renewable energy facilities under articles seven and ten of the public service law.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
