Authorizes licensed practitioners, licensed persons, and unlicensed personnel at correctional facilities to use body imaging scanning equipment with ionizing radiation to screen inmates for security purposes.

Requires the Department of Health to promulgate regulations including mandatory training for unlicensed operators, radiation exposure limits (50% of non-worker limits for adults; 5% for inmates under 18; 0% for pregnant women), and equipment registration and inspection requirements.

Mandates correctional facilities maintain records of all body imaging equipment use and comply with installation, maintenance, operation, and inspection standards before operating such equipment.

Requires annual reporting by the Department of Corrections to the Department of Health and legislative leaders documenting equipment usage frequency, exposure levels, contraband detection results, and any injuries or illnesses resulting from the equipment.

Takes effect 120 days after becoming law and automatically expires and repeals five years after the effective date.
