Requires health insurance policies to provide full coverage for comprehensive genetic testing and FDA-approved biomarker testing for prostate and ovarian cancers when recommended by a doctor, board-certified geneticist, or genetic counselor.

Eliminates patient cost-sharing by prohibiting annual deductibles and coinsurance for genetic testing; insurers bear all associated costs.

Mandates coverage apply both before and after initial cancer diagnosis, and extends genetic screening coverage to family members of cancer patients.

Prohibits insurers from using genetic test results against family members who carry genetic or inheritance mutations for insurance coverage decisions.

Takes effect 60 days after enactment and applies to all health insurance policies issued, renewed, modified, altered, or amended on or after the effective date.
