Changes the name of the collaborating agency from "office of alcoholism and substance abuse" to "office of addiction services and supports" in pain management training standards.

Requires training standards to be updated according to best practices for patient-centered care, considering social determinants of health and co-occurring disorders.

Adds mandatory training on overdose reduction techniques and medications for addiction treatment, including information about becoming a buprenorphine prescriber, for all licensed prescribers re-registering after July 1, 2024.

Authorizes the Department of Health to promulgate necessary rules and regulations immediately to implement the act by its effective date.

Takes effect 120 days after becoming law.
