Expands HIV prevention drug coverage requirements to all large group policies providing medical, major medical, or comprehensive-type coverage, removing the previous limitation to prescription drug coverage only.

Allows coverage to be subject to annual deductibles and coinsurance consistent with other policy benefits, unless the preventive service has an 'A' or 'B' rating from the United States Preventive Services Task Force.

Applies the same coverage requirements to large group contracts issued by hospital services corporations and health services corporations.

Repeals paragraph 36 of subsection (i) of section 3216 of the insurance law from the prior 2022 legislation.

Makes the coverage requirements effective immediately and applicable to all policies and contracts issued, renewed, modified, altered, or amended on or after the effective date.
