Extends the eligible period for loan forgiveness from six years to eight years, measured from the second year through the eleventh year of employment as an eligible attorney.

Increases the maximum annual loan reimbursement per qualifying year from $3,400 to $8,000 for eligible attorneys.

Expands eligible employers to include non-profit indigent civil legal services corporations, in addition to district attorney offices and criminal defense agencies.

Allows attorneys to begin applying for loan forgiveness after completion of the second year of qualified service (instead of fourth year) and extends eligibility to receive grants up to eight years (instead of six years).

Clarifies that vacation, leave time, and Family and Medical Leave Act-qualifying absences do not interrupt the calculation of qualified service, effective April 1, 2025.
