Colleges, universities, professional, proprietary, and graduate schools must provide written notice to students of their tuition liability policy in clear and conspicuous language.

Notice must include information about exceptions to tuition liability and the process for requesting such exceptions.

Schools must provide notice in both hard copy and electronic form, and students must acknowledge their understanding and receipt of the policy.

Schools must provide additional notices about the tuition liability policy and its exceptions to students throughout the academic year.

Act takes effect ninety days after becoming law.
