Amends Public Lands Law Section 19-b to expand state aid eligibility to include lands in the town of New Hudson, Allegany County that were transferred to the state and are under the jurisdiction of the Department of Environmental Conservation.

State aid payments remain available to municipal corporations and special districts when taxable assessed valuation decreases due to land transfer to the state, as previously established for West Valley, Cattaraugus County property.

State aid shall be computed based on taxes levied on the last assessment roll completed in the year the land was acquired by the state, with adjustments for assessment changes but not less than the 1980 assessment roll.

Takes effect immediately with first payment of state aid based on assessment rolls completed in 2022.
