Expands the definition of podiatry practice to include treatment of the ankle, skin, and soft tissue of the leg below the tibial tuberosity, removing the requirement for a separate ankle surgery privilege for basic ankle treatment.

Eliminates the distinction between "standard" and "advanced" ankle surgery privileges, creating a single ankle surgery privilege category with requirements including residency completion and board certification.

Allows board-qualified (but not yet certified) podiatrists to obtain ankle surgery privileges with departmental approval of their training and experience, and permits board qualification alone to satisfy certification requirements for limited permits.

Removes the restriction on partial or total ankle replacements from the list of prohibited procedures for licensed podiatrists.

Requires the department to conduct a study on whether to make podiatrist profiles publicly available similar to physician profiles on the Department of Health website.
