Prohibits health insurance policies or contracts from imposing fees or penalties for special enrollment of pregnant individuals.

Coverage becomes effective on the first day of the month in which pregnancy is certified, or the first day of the following month if the individual elects a later start date.

Applies to all health insurance policies or contracts issued, renewed, modified, altered, or amended on or after January 1 following the bill's enactment.
